Arrival at "Macedonia" airport at 19:00 and check-in before taking the Thessaloniki-Istanbul-Tehran flight. Arrival at Tehran airport at 04:55 (Saturday, 18/10/2025). Transfer to the hotel in Tehran. Settle in and have free time to rest. Overnight.

Tehran – Sa’adatabad Palace – Carpet Museum – Tajrish Bazaar – Elahieh District – Fereshteh Street – Tabiat Bridge
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the luxurious Sa'adatabad complex, which was built in the 19th century by the Qajar dynasty and expanded to its current form during the Pahlavi dynasty. We will visit the famous Shahwandi Palace, also known as the "Green Palace" due to the rare green pearls that cover its exterior. What is impressive is the mirror-wall, decorated with intricate, handmade Persian carpets. We will then depart for the carpet museum to see up close the renowned art of the Persians and to learn about all the impressive details of the famous Persian carpets. After our tour of the museum, we will head to the northern suburbs of the city, to the Tajrish area and the famous bazaar of the area.After browsing the countless shops of the bazaar, we will depart for the Elahieh area and the famous "Fereshteh" street with its luxury boutiques, elegant restaurants and cafes, and modern shops, where we will experience a more "European part of the capital," a modern face of Tehran. Here, we will have free time to enjoy coffee, tea, and try local sweets at one of the many cafes in the area, and of course, take a stroll through the various shops in the area. Then, we will take the way back to the hotel, stopping at the "Bridge of Nature" or Tabiat Bridge, where many families and Iranian teenagers gather and have fun every day. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Azadi Tower – Fin Garden – Tabatabaei Historic House – Kashan Bazaar – Wool Workshop – Agha Bozorg Mosque – Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse – Old City of Kashan
Breakfast at the hotel and we visit Azadi Tower, at the western entrance of the city. The "Tower of Freedom," perhaps the most characteristic symbol of Tehran, was built in 1971 to celebrate the 2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire and is the emblem of the city. Next, we leave the capital and head towards the country's central region. Our destination is the city of Kashan, an ancient city in the north of the city of Isfahan. Just before we arrive in the city, we will visit the Fin Garden. This is a magnificent Persian garden, the oldest surviving in Iran today, and despite the natural disasters and invasions it has suffered, it has managed to regenerate and remain almost unchanged in the face of adversity.The abundance of water flowing through the garden's canals and pools is particularly impressive, despite the fact that the area where it is located rarely experiences rain and suffers from water scarcity. After wandering through the garden and admiring its unparalleled charm, we are ready to discover the secrets of the historic houses of Kasan, attractions that attract a large crowd every day, thanks to their enviable architecture and luxurious decoration. We will visit the beautiful Tabatabaei family home. Built in the 19th century, this house is an excellent reflection of the lifestyle of the aristocratic families of Karsan and shows all the typical characteristics of Persian architecture.We will not miss to explore the central and traditional market of the city as well as to see up close the natural process of dyeing wool in a special laboratory. In the afternoon, we will visit the impressive Agha Bozorg mosque, a historic mosque built in the late 18th century that also includes a theological school. After lunch, we will visit the Qasemi bath, also known as the Sultan Amir Ahmad bath, a traditional Iranian public bath that was built in the 16th century during the Safavid era. However, after an earthquake in 1778, it was damaged and renovated during the Qajar era. We will be transferred to the hotel, check-in at the rooms. Free time. Overnight.

Kashan – Red Village, Abyaneh – Isfahan – Sio-se Bridge – Khaju Bridge
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for one of the most historic villages of Iran, the village of Abyaneh, also called the "Red Village", at an altitude of 2240m above sea level. With a rich history dating back to the Sassanid era, Abianeh impresses even the most discerning visitor. The characteristic red color that prevails throughout the village (due to an unusual high level of iron oxide), the preservation of tradition, customs, and rituals, the traditional costumes of the local residents, and the Middle Persian or Pahlavi language that the residents still speak today make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.After lunch in the village, we will continue to Isfahan, where we arrive in the afternoon. We will walk through the beautiful city of Isfahan with its illuminated bridges and the magnificent Naqsh-e Jahan Square, which "steals the show." We will visit the most famous and impressive Sio-se and Khaju bridges, where we will become one with the locals who gather and sing traditional Iranian songs together. Then we will head to the impressive Naqsh-e Jahan Square for our first walk and then transfer to the hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight.

Naqsh-e Jahan Square – Isfahan Bazaar – Shah Mosque – Ali Qapu Palace – Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque – Chehel Sotoun Palace – Armenian Quarter
After breakfast, we start our tour of Isfahan early in the morning. Our first stop is Naqsh-e Jahan Square, the second largest square in the world, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whenever someone finds themselves near the square, they are magically drawn in and can't resist another visit. Here, we will have free time to stroll and shop at the large bazaar of Isfahan. Next, we visit the magnificent Shah Mosque with its majestic blue dome and the mysterious way the tiles that decorate it are connected, creating a picturesque image of rare beauty. Looking at the Alikapou Palace, we will feel that it shines like the sun in a rich blue setting.There we will have the opportunity to "climb" along the stairs, explore its architectural structure, and once we reach the highest point, rest and enjoy the view of the entire square that magically unfolds before our eyes. On the other side of the square, the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, this architectural masterpiece, adds another touch of luxury to the already impressive scenery. Next, we will visit the Chehel Sotoun Palace, next to Naghshe Jahan Square. Its characteristic features are certainly the lush garden and the large pool it has on the outside. This is followed by a delicious lunch at a restaurant serving traditional dishes and free time. We will end the day with "New Julfa," the Armenian quarter of Isfahan, and learn all the interesting information about the history and contribution of the Armenian population to the city. Overnight.

Pigeon towers – Meybod – Ardekan – Zoroastrian house – Iranian qanat – Yazd – Jameh mosque – Old city of Yazd
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the unique city of Yazd. On our way, we will stop to see the "Dove Towers" and the small town of Meybod, where we will visit the famous Persian ice house, which dates back to the 18th century, and learn about how the locals created, stored, and preserved ice throughout the year. Next, we will enter the village of Ardekan and tour a traditional house-museum of a Zoroastrian family. Of course, on our trip to Iran, we can't miss visiting one of the most impressive qanats, the Iranian surreal underground water system that transported water from the mountainous regions to the flatter, hotter, and drier ones. We will have lunch at a traditional local restaurant in the village and depart for Yazd.We arrive in the city in the afternoon and visit the Jameh mosque, the largest in the city. It stands out for its unusual and enormous gate, decorated with intricate tiles, as well as for the two 48m minarets that flank the grand entrance and showcase Iranian ceramic art in the most detailed way. We continue to the hotel and have free time in the evening to stroll and eat in the city. Overnight.

Saryazd Castle – Towers of Silence – Fire Temple – Dowlat Abad Garden – Amir Chackmaq Complex – Yazd
After breakfast, we will depart for the impressive Saryazd Castle, a magnificent old castle that was once used as a giant warehouse to protect grains, jewelry, and other valuables. After the castle, we will go to the "Towers of Silence," where Zoroastrian dead were taken before being transported to their final resting place. As recently as 40 years ago, the remaining Zoroastrians would carry their deceased relatives to the top of the "Towers of Silence" in Yazd. Next, we will visit the "Temple of Fire," a Zoroastrian temple that has kept the ancient sacred flame burning for over 1,500 years. Like every ancient temple in Iran, this one has an enviable "pool" in the center of its courtyard.Next, we head to the Dowlat Abad Garden in the center of Yazd, where it is believed that the founder of the Zand dynasty, Karim Khan, stayed with his massive army in 1759 for 40 nights. This garden has undeniable architectural value and creates a paradise-like setting. Then, we will head to the Amir Chackmaq complex, in the old city of Yazd and the square surrounded by some of the city's most popular attractions. The rest of the afternoon is spent taking last strolls around the city. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Pasargadae – Naqsh-e Rustam Necropolis – Persepolis – Shiraz
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our road trip to Shiraz, the "city of poets," the capital of Fars Province. On our journey, we will make our first stop at the ancient city of Pasargadae, the first capital of the Achaemenid Empire. This archaeological site is believed to have been the mausoleum of Cyrus the Great. Continuing our journey, we arrive at the Necropolis of Naqsh-e Rustam, which reflects the glorious course of the Persian kings, even after death. After our tour, we leave the Necropolis and visit Persepolis, which now stands majestically before us. At the archaeological site of Persepolis, we will have the opportunity to gaze upon its dazzling beauty, observe the ancient symbols that adorn the walls of the buildings, and be impressed by its unparalleled historical value.We will then have lunch at a traditional restaurant in the area and continue on to our destination, Shiraz. We will arrive in the city in the afternoon. A brief tour of the city entrance, where the "Gate of the Koran" is located. Arrival at the hotel and check-in. Free time in the city for food and strolls. Overnight.

Haygher Gorge – ancient city of Gor – Fire Temple of Firuzabad – Zagros Mountains – Nomad culture – Shiraz
After breakfast, we head south of the city to Haygher Canyon, the "Grand Canyon" of Iran, which is approximately 13 kilometers long and 450 meters deep, with the Ghareh Aghaj River running through it. On our journey, we will pass through the impressive ancient city of Gor, the Fire Temple of Firuzabad, and the Maiden Castle (Ghaleh Dokhtar). We arrive at the gorge and the view we encounter is literally breathtaking. After enjoying the stunning view and taking our photos, we will visit a family of Qashqai nomads, whose population was half the country's population about half a century ago. Today, resisting the modern trend of urbanization and the lure of modernization, they live and raise their families as their ancestors did 10 centuries ago.Here, we will have the opportunity to experience authentic traditional nomadic life in a natural landscape where absolute tranquility prevails in the Zagros Mountains. We will converse with them, listen to their traditional songs, and taste a special variation of kebab that the locals will prepare just for us along with delicious dishes with Persian rice. We will also see firsthand the daily activities of the nomads, such as milking sheep and goats, spinning wool, the process of kneading and baking fresh bread, and the special pie that only the nomadic tribe has the authentic recipe for, as well as the unique creation of yogurt. After lunch, after saying goodbye to all the family members for their hospitality, we return to Shiraz and the hotel. Free time. Overnight.

Siraz – Rose Mosque – Narenjestan-e Ghavam – Vakil Complex – Vakil Bazaar – Vakil Baths – Vakil Mosque – Hafez Mausoleum – Zoorkhaneh – Airport
Breakfast at the hotel, and then we visit the traditional Pink Mosque (also known as Nasir-Al Molk Mosque), where we can calmly capture the early morning sunbeams that enter through the windows and are reflected in a unique way on the pink tiles of the walls. Next, we will head to the "Kavam" house, also known as Narenjestan-e Ghavam, a traditional and historic house with a characteristic Persian garden built between 1879 and 1886. After our tour of the house, we will depart for the Zand complex, also known as Vakil, which was built during the Zand dynasty (1751-1794) and specifically during the reign of its founder Karim Khan. Next, we visit Vakil Bazaar, which is said to have been created in the 11th century with the aim of transforming the city of Shiraz into a major commercial center.With an area of 21,840 square meters, this market is not a purely tourist spot, but the place where locals still do their shopping. There we will shop and enjoy hot traditional coffee and tea, local delicacies and treats in the traditional shops we find around. We then head to Vakil Bath, Shiraz's old public baths, which were traditionally in operation until 90 years ago. It now stands as a historical monument of great architectural interest. After our tour, we head west and right next to the entrance of the bazaar is the Vakil Mosque, one of the most unique mosques in Iran. This mosque does not have a dome and is distinguished by its two unusual minarets, approximately 20 meters high. Then, we will move to the other side of the city, where we will visit the mausoleum of the famous Iranian poet Hafez, one of the most important places for all Iranians.Next, we will visit the Zoorkhaneh, the "place of strength for the body, soul, and spirit," as described by the locals. In this space, we will watch the traditional way in which athletes train with live music from the zarb (Persian drum) and poems from the "Shahnameh," Ferdowsi's masterpiece epic book, incorporating elements of martial arts, gymnastics, and music to train the mind, body, and soul (optional). We bid farewell to the beautiful city of Shiraz in the evening and depart for the airport for our return flight.

Flights are operated by Turkish Airlines from Thessaloniki.
NOTES
  • To participate in the excursion, the following are required: A) The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months after the travel dates B)The passport MUST NOT have an Israeli entry stamp.

  • Dress code:Like all Muslim states, Iran is known for its conservative tradition. Women must have their heads covered with scarves or ties, and their clothes must not be tight-fitting so that their silhouette is not outlined.
